Malachi 1:4-6

⁴ Though Edom says, “We have been ^(A)beaten down, but we will ^[a](B)return and build up the ruins”; thus says the Lord of hosts, “They may ^(C)build, but I will tear down; and men will call them the ^[b]wicked territory, and the people ^[c]toward whom the Lord is indignant ^(D)forever.” ⁵ Your eyes will see this and you will say, “^(E)The Lord ^[d]be magnified beyond the ^[e]border of Israel!”

Sin of the Priests

⁶ “‘A son ^(F)honors his father, and a servant his master. Then if I am a ^(G)father, where is My honor? And if I am a master, where is My ^[f]respect?’ says the Lord of hosts to you, O ^(H)priests who despise My name. But you say, ‘How have we despised Your name?’
