Malachi 1:4-6
New American Standard Bible 1995
4 Though Edom says, “We have been (A)beaten down, but we will [a](B)return and build up the ruins”; thus says the Lord of hosts, “They may (C)build, but I will tear down; and men will call them the [b]wicked territory, and the people [c]toward whom the Lord is indignant (D)forever.” 5 Your eyes will see this and you will say, “(E)The Lord [d]be magnified beyond the [e]border of Israel!”
Sin of the Priests
6 “‘A son (F)honors his father, and a servant his master. Then if I am a (G)father, where is My honor? And if I am a master, where is My [f]respect?’ says the Lord of hosts to you, O (H)priests who despise My name. But you say, ‘How have we despised Your name?’
